GreeneStone Muskoka provides expert care in the treatment and recovery of those with substance abuse issues.
Dr. Patrick is the Clinical Director at GreeneStone Muskoka, bringing expertise in addiction assessment, medical detoxification, and treatment for concurrent disorders, as well as extensive experience with individual and group therapy. Dr. Patrick will be coming to GreeneStone after working as an attending physician in the Addiction Division at Homewood Health Centre and as a consultant addictionist for Hope Place Women's Treatment Centre and Halton Recovery House. He is a certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and a diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
William (Bill) Jacyk, MD is the Chief Medical Consultant to GreeneStone Muskoka bringing extensive expertise in addiction medicine. Dr. Jacyk is a member of the Canadian Medical Association, the Canadian Medical Protective Association, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Chairman of the Board of the Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness and the former president and member of the Canadian Society of Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Joe Gleeson is a physician who provides medical assessments for residents admitted to GreeneStone Muskoka. He specializes in Hospital Medicine, Obstetrics, and Addiction Medicine. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Wright is a psychiatrist who has been treating patients for more than 20 years. He is a recognized expert in the treatment of trauma and PTSD. Previously he was Director of Specialized Psychiatry at Homewood Health Centre. He has seen the burden of having both a mental illness and addiction. He will be providing assessments, doing individual and group work, to support residents achieve sustained addiction recovery. He is a member of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, Canadian and Ontario Medical Association, International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada.
Nominated four times since 1992 by his colleagues for the Krista Sepp Memorial Award for his work with children, Jim Hall is the author of Creating Courage: Search & Rescue, a treatment manual for professionals dealing with trauma and anxiety. Jim has trained professionals and lay healers throughout Ontario and the Canadian Arctic including dealing with trauma in isolated communities.
With over 25 years of clinical experience working with adults, families and adolescents and children, both in individual and group therapy modalities, Jim brings to GreeneStone a solid understanding of therapeutic best practices in the treatment of concurrent disorders such as trauma, anxiety, depression and addictions.
Kim is the General Manager of GreeneStone Muskoka. She is an internationally certified addiction counsellor and internationally certified clinical supervisor. She has her Bachelors degree in Psychology and is presently working on achieving her masters in Counselling Psychology. Kim has over 15 years experience in the addiction industry and has worked at various levels within the field. Kim has worked as a front line addiction counsellor in both inpatient and outpatient counselling. For the last 6 years, Kim has been the program coordinator in the addiction division of Homewood Health Centre.
Hildie comes to GreeneStone with a background in Social work, psychology and spirituality. She conducted a private practice over the past 25 years consisting of individuals in one on one counselling, small groups and retreats. Her holistic approach to wellness consists of assessing clients from an emotional, physical, spiritual, creative and relational perspective. She especially brings her spiritual practice to the residents of the treatment community at GreeneStone Muskoka, helping residents to find greater meaning and purpose to their lives.
Paul is an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counsellor who has 20 years of professional clinical experience. Paul brings expertise in all areas of the addiction and mental health continuum including inpatient treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, aftercare, individual and group therapy. Paul has a wealth of knowledge and experience working with corporations in developing addiction and mental health programs from drug policy to full in-house peer driven addiction and mental health programs.
Steven Petovello is an Addiction Therapist at GreeneStone Muskoka. He brings many years experience in addictions assessments, counselling, treating co-occurring disorders, and providing continuing care for individuals, groups, and families. Previously he has worked as a Prime Addictions Therapist and Case Manager for Hope Place Centres, as well as an Addictions Counsellor with the Salvation Army, Withdrawal Management Division. He holds both a Certificate in Addiction Studies and an Addiction Careworker Diploma from McMaster University. He is currently a member of the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation and is in the process of acquiring his International Certification (ICADC).
Tim Dickson is the Clinical Associate Supervisor and brings 8-years of residential addiction treatment experience to GreeneStone. He is certified in Substance Abuse Counseling and has taken courses in Business Leadership at Vancouver Community College. He is a member of the Canadian Addiction Counselor Certification Federation (CACCF).
Dr. Anita Teslak is a GreeneStone Vice President in charge of admissions to the Muskoka facility. She is also a Managing Partner of Executive Resolve, another business division of GreeneStone Health Services, where she oversees the counselling and coaching networks. Before joining the GreeneStone team, Dr.Teslak was most recently the CEO of Adler International Learning Inc. She has continued with Adler as a Professor of Psychology in the Master’s Degree Program. Dr. Teslak is a registered licensed psychologist who has held senior leadership roles in the EAP, consulting, and financial industry. Dr. Teslak holds a B.A from York University and an M.A. in Counselling Psychology and doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She also served as a board of trustee member for the Psychology Foundation of Canada in a volunteer position.
Richard is a GreeneStone Vice President who supports both the admission process as well as operations for the Muskoka facility. He is also a Managing Partner of Executive Resolve, one of the other business divisions for GreeneStone Health Services, where he oversees business relations. He joined the GreeneStone team following a successful 18-year career in the Health and Wellness Industry and specifically Shepell.fgi Employee Assistance Programs where he was a senior executive accountable for 7000 in-force organizational clients. Richard holds his Honors BA in Psychology from York University and his Masters in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Andrew Galloway, a Substance Abuse and Behavioural Health Specialist and is the Vice-President, Aftercare and Outpatient Services for GreeneStone Yorkvile. He is an International Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC). In addition, he is a counsellor for the National Hockey League and National Hockey League Players’ Association Substance Abuse and Behavioural Health Program, as well as an Interventionist on the television show Intervention Canada. He won the Award of Academic Excellence after completing his Addiction Studies at McMaster University, and in 2008 was awarded the Transforming Lives Award from The Centre of Addiction and Mental Health.

Doreen Glowacki is the General Manager of GreeneStone Muskoka and brings over 30 years of experience in hospitality industry management to the facility. She oversees the day to day operations of the campus ensuring that quality and safety standards of the highest order are adhered to as well as ensuring patients are treated with respect and comfortable in the facility.
Sherri Moyes joined GreeneStone Muskoka in July 2011 as the Receptionist/Admissions Agent, responsible for office administration as well as assisting in the patient admission process. Sherri enjoys being the front line contact for patients and visitors.
Ellen is a certified Yoga and meditation instructor, and Reiki Master and Teacher with experience in Relaxation and Intuitive massage. She is a personal trainer and graduate of University of Toronto's Physio/Occupational Therapy Program. Ellen has her own yoga studio, 'Yoga in the Sound' for adults and children in Parry Sound.
Wayne is a certified Reflexologist and Reiki Master with a solid foundation in polarity work and Transcendental Meditation. He has taught reflexology through the Ontario College of Reflexology and Learning Annex.
Shannon is a lead Recreation Therapist at GreeneStone Muskoka, bringing enthusiasm, creativity and skills in leisure assessments, group and individual programming, and leisure education that can assist clients in improving health, functioning, and quality of life. She comes to GreeneStone after working at Homewood Health Centre in the Substance Abuse and Trauma Safety Program. She has completed additional education courses in Addictions and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Laughter Yoga Leader certification, and is currently working on her Personal Training Specialist Certification.
