Kristen is a trauma-trained therapist at Greenestone. She utilizes empathy, non-judgment, and compassion to create a safe space in her sessions. Kristen believes in a person-centered approach in which the client and the therapist work together to set and achieve goals. She uses an eclectic counselling style that includes components of EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and a Strengths-Based Approach. She has a degree in Sociology from Brock University, a Post Graduate Certificate in Addictions Treatment and Prevention from Georgian College, and is currently completing her Masters in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University.
