Michelle has an Honours degree in Psychology from Laurentian University and is a graduate of the Addictions Prevention and Treatment program at Georgian College.
During her time at Laurentian, Michelle spent much of her time studying Resiliency Theory, which provides a strengths-based approach to understanding child and adolescent development. This sparked her interest to further her education in concurrent disorders.
From a young age Michelle has always been drawn to helping others. As an avid figure skater, she excellent in supporting and coaching developing skaters and still enjoys skating in her free time.
As a Recovery Coach, Michelle is motivated by the positive changes our clients are able to make during their time at GreeneStone. She works with our clients by providing educational programing, supporting them to identify, develop and achieve their goals, and reinforces the importance of self-care – which are all things that she practices in her own life.
