NICOLE CHRISTIAN

Clinical Associate

Nicole received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Brock University for Child and Youth Studies, with a focus on youth with exceptionalities. She had an opportunity to practice these teachings as a support staff at a mental health treatment and support facility in Niagara where she guided clients through life skills education, emotional regulation practices and de-escalation.

As a GreeneStone Alumnus, Nicole connects with clients in an open and honest way providing non-judgmental active listening and life experience. Nicole is active in her recovery community and has been volunteering for over a year at GreeneStone prior to joining the team as Clinical Associate.

As a mother of three boys, Nicole integrates her parenting teachings with her recovery experience, bringing a compassionate, patient and caring approach to the clients at GreeneStone. Nicole enjoys building Lego as a therapeutic tool along with soaking up what the natural surroundings of Muskoka has to offer.
