Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Intake Coordinator conducts intake processes to ensure that prospective clients are provided with timely, appropriate information. The Intake Coordinator works together with the various departments of the facility to ensure a smooth admission process. The incumbent is responsible for completing all the documentation, assessment tools, financial and transportation needs, and any exceptions for individuals that are admitted to the program. The Intake Coordinator ensures that all inquiries are tracked and responded to in a professional and timely manner.

The position is responsible for reporting admissions statistics and managing information regarding intakes throughout the calendar year. As the first point of contact for clients and their loved ones, the Intake Coordinator requires compassion, intuition, and effective communication while providing an exceptional and supportive client experience. The intake department supports the primary adult inpatient program as well as military and young adult tracks.

Experience and Skills:

  • Post-secondary degree in social work, psychology, or addictions or equivalent education and experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering a high level of client service
  • Exceptional computer, administrative, and organizational skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative problem solving and self-motivated
  • High degree of professionalism and discretion
