Anthony Cafik

As Clinical Director, Anthony Cafik brings with him more than two decades of experience in addiction recovery. His career began at Edgewood Treatment Centre, where he worked for 13 years as a counsellor, chaplain, and extended care clinician. He guided clients and families through the emotional, spiritual, and psychological challenges of recovery, always with a focus on healing, dignity, and connection. He went on to serve in senior roles at Cedars at Cobble Hill and Aurora Recovery Centre, where he mentored clinicians, introduced trauma therapies such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and helped implement trauma-informed systems of care. Anthony served as Manager of Addiction Services at St. Joseph’s Recovery Centre in Estevan, Saskatchewan. There, he led the transformation of an acute care hospital program into a full recovery-oriented system of care – from first contact through admission, inpatient treatment, and into sober living and continuing care.
Anthony’s approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, 12-step principles, and the integration of best practices across mental health and addiction treatment. He brings a deep respect for the humanity of every person involved in the recovery process.
