DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS & CLIENT EXPERIENCE
Roger studied culinary arts in Quebec and obtained his Certification as Chef de Cuisine (C.C.C.) at Humber College. He also studied at St. Helena in California at the Culinary Institute of America, one of the world’s most unique and enriching schools for food education.
At the beginning of his career, Roger worked as a chef at the Banff Springs Hotel and Chateau Lake Louise. He was also the Executive Chef at Deerhurst Resort and the Skydome hotel. He later transitioned into hotel management as the Manager at the Sherwood Inn in Muskoka.
As the Director of Facilities & Client Experience, Roger is responsible for all facets of the GreeneStone property which include our kitchen, reception, housekeeping, maintenance, and security. Although he is responsible for our facilities, he never misses an opportunity to engage with our clients. You’ll often find him giving cooking demonstrations or making omelettes every Friday at our breakfast bar. Roger refers to our clients as his ‘guests’ and takes great pride in ensuring their well-being and comfort.
